Zoey and her friends are coming back to television with their adulting mishaps soon. The last half of the third season of Freeform’s Grown-ish will start airing in late January. The show went on hiatus after airing eight episodes of season three and was scheduled to return earlier this year, but the lockdown delayed production for the remaining episodes.
The series is a spin-off of ABC’s sitcom Black-ish which focuses on the Anderson family. Zoey is the oldest child in the family and Grown-ish narrates her story as she moves out of her parent’s house and goes to college.
Freeform announced the new episodes by dropping a trailer and some key art. In a press release, the cable network said that Zoey and the Cal U gang will get to experience the world outside the university and whether it matches what they hoped for.
Zoey previously dropped out of college in the middle of her junior year to pursue her fashion career and the remaining episodes will test whether she is ready for the world or has some more growing up to do.
Grown-ish stars Yara Shahidi as Zoey, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Cloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat, and Diggy Simmons.
The third season returns on January 21st, 2021, at 8 pm ET/PT.
