Kenji Inoue, the manga’s creator, has been suffering from severe back pain due to overworking which is the cause behind the break.
The manga will remain on hiatus till Inoue recovers and deems himself suitable for working.
A tweet was posted on the Twitter account of Grand Blue showing Iori, Kohei, Tokita, and Kotobuki bowing while being naked. This is how they are asking for forgiveness for the leave in their drunken style.
