Aziraphale and Crowley are returning for the second season of Good Omens, and we have the first look at the demon’s ginger hair.
Actor David Tennant’s wife Georgia posted a picture of the top half of his head, teasing Crowley’s look in season 2 with the caption, ‘He’s like fire,’ with a demon face emoji.
(A missed opportunity to say ‘hot as hell.’)
Showrunner Neil Gaiman quote-tweeted the picture, adding, “Who could this be, with hair so ginger and glare so intense? Who?”
Good Omens is an Amazon Prime original supernatural comedy-drama series that debuted in 2019. The show was widely loved because of the leading duo, Michael Sheen and David Tennant’s chemistry as Aziraphale the angel and Crowley the demon.
Gaiman also confirmed the start of production for season 2 yesterday and posted a picture of the studio’s back door with a quote from season 1 painted on it.
If Crowley’s got his signature hair color down, it’s a no-brainer that Aziraphale would show up with a fresh blonde shade as well. Sheen posted a picture of the top half of his head, showing off his look.
Good Omens season 1 saw the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley team up to prevent the end of the world, aka Armageddon, when the Antichrist, Adam, was born in England. Season 2 will supposedly explore the series’ mythology, including the origins of the angels and demons.
Gaiman adapted the script based on the book he co-wrote with Terry Pratchett. Unfortunately, Pratchett passed away before the authors could work on the second novel.
The series was originally supposed to be a limited series, but the streaming service renewed it due to its popularity. Gaiman reassured fans that season 2 will adapt the plans he and Pratchett had for the sequel.
Good Omens season 2 is currently filming, with production expected to wrap by the end of the year. Prime Video is yet to give the upcoming season a premiere date.
