1. Release Date
Season 4 of Golden Kamuy is set to be released in October of 2022. The news was announced on the magazine cover of Weekly Young Jump Issue 18. The previous seasons were streamed by Crunchyroll and Funimation. Season 4 could also be available on these sites.
2. Trailer
A new trailer has been revealed for the upcoming season of the anime:
In the trailer, the scene is set in an unknown snowy place, and the atmosphere is quite serious. Also seen in the trailer is Sugimoto, who has finally found Asirpa and saves her from a drifting ice.
In the duration of forty-four seconds, it is quite clear that the series will be filled with lots of snow, mystery, and gunfire.

4. Season 4 Plot
The manga series, Golden Kamuy, ended with a total of 314 written chapters. However, season 3 has only adapted till chapter 200 of the said manga.
After having spent the last 3 seasons collecting prisoners’ skins, Asirpa and Sugimoto got separated on their way to Russia; clueless of the dangers that lay ahead in this foreign land.
5. New Characters
I. Warrant Officer Kikuta
Warrant Officer Kikuta is from the 7th Division of the Imperial Japanese Army. He was severely hurt during the war and had been recovering at the Noboribetsu Onsen.
Voicing Warrant Officer Kikuta is Kenyu Horiuchi. Some of his other known works are in Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World as Wilhelm van Astrea and in One Piece as Foxfire Kin’emon.

7. About Golden Kamuy
Golden Kamuy is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Noda. It was serialized in August 2014 in the seinen magazine Weekly Young Jump. The manga concluded in April 2022 and has been collected into 31 volumes.
The plot revolves around Saichi Sugimoto, who is a battle veteran from the Russo-Japanese war.
He is in desperate need of money, he decides to go on a quest, when he hears a story about hidden Ainu gold. A young Ainu girl, Asirpa, joins him.
