The God of War series takes place over a couple of years. The protagonist, Kratos goes through a traumatic journey, and it is evident from his gruesome look.
There’s a God of War: Ragnarok mod by YouTuber @Speclizer which removes Kratos’ beard, giving him a quick makeover.
This mod comes as a surprise since for some fans, it is hard to imagine the Norse god without a beard. However, with the mod in effect, there is some facial hair on Kratos’ face during a few cutscenes. There’s even a shot of Kratos with just a thick mustache. Atreus has also been modded causing some of his hair to disappear.
Santa Monica Studio was appreciated for its recent update which introduced several tweaks and fixes, even adding Polish language support specifically for those who have purchased the game in Poland.
The God of War community is quick to apply mods to the newly launched sequel. Another player reimagined God of War: Ragnarok as a PS1 game, even releasing a redefined trailer which could fool someone into thinking the game actually came out years ago.
God of War: Ragnarok is turning out to be a huge success. The sequel received high praise from fans and critics alike. It has also been nominated in multiple categories at The Game Awards 2022.
God of War: Ragnarok is available for PS4 and PS5.
