Developers are always looking for ways to improve players’ gaming experience. The perfect game should have an engaging storyline, adequate difficulty level, and ease of functionality access.
God of War Ragnarok has already got the first two correct, and now with its new update, it will be a complete package. The UX designers over at Santa Monica Studio, the makers of the God of War franchise will be adding several accessibility features to make the game suitable for players’ needs.
The official PlayStation post reads,
Not only have we redesigned our UI to allow for more flexibility and readability, but we have also rebuilt controller remapping from the ground up and added more customization to our combat and interaction systems. We have retained all our accessibility features from 2018’s God of War and expanded upon them to include more than 60 ways to adjust gameplay to best suit your style and needs.

The Playstation blog post also mentions future plans to add more options and features to the game. Players are excited to see what else is retained from the prequel God of War(2018). While the exact date is still unannounced, God of War Ragnarok is slated for a 2022 release for platforms PS4 and PS5.
