Like God of War (2018), Ragnarok boasts a phenomenal story, beautiful locations, huge set pieces, and a range of collectibles and puzzles.
During your playthrough, you will come across a wide range of chests, puzzles, ravens, and collectibles, which will require you to think for a bit to find the solution. One such puzzle is the Nornir Chest located in the Forge map in the Svartalfheim area.
To open this chest, you will require an item that you don’t have yet. This guide will show you how to find the chest and explain the rewards you obtain after opening the Forge Nornir Chest.
How to open the Forge Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarok?
To open the Forge Nornir Chest in God of War Ragnarok, you need the Draupnir Spear in your arsenal. Once acquired, you can use the Draupnir Spear to open the chest. Additionally, you’ll need to throw and embed your spear in nearby runes.
I. The First Rune
Go to the Nornir Chest’s Location in the Forge in the realm of Svartalfheim. Once you have reached there, move to the ledge located directly behind the chest. There, you will find the first rune located in the distance. Throw the Draupnir Spear at it.
II. The Second Rune
After you throw your spear at the first rune, turn to the left. You will find another rune located there. Repeat the process of throwing the spear at the rune.
III. The Third Rune
After throwing your spear at the second rune, go back the way you came to the chest. There, you will find the third rune, which is located on a rock overlooking the wooden bridge. This is the final rune required in order to open the Nornir Chest. Once all three runes possess a spear, detonate them all at once, which will unlock the Nornir Chest.
From inside the Nornir Chest, you will obtain a Horn of Blood Mead, which increases your maximum Spartan Rage. Collect 4 Horn of Blood Mead to max out your Rage meter completely.
