The God of High School, by Yongje Park, is a famous Korean manhwa webtoon currently in its sixth season Re: Battle with Gods.
The God of High School anime’s fifth episode came out this Monday and was clearly the best episode of the anime so far as we got to see the final and most exciting fight of the GOH Seoul Prelims – Mori Jin vs. Daewi Han!
GOH episode 5, titled “ronde/hound,” kicks off from the chapter 35th chapter of the manhwa webtoon and ends at the end of chapter 41.
1. Episode 6 Release Date
Episode 6 of The God of High School anime will be released on Monday, August 10, at 7:30 am PDT. The title for the next episode has not been revealed yet.
In the next episode, we will likely see a time skip and the beginning of God of High School tournament’s main competition – a lot of characters are going to be introduced as 3-man teams from all of Korea.
2. Episode 6 Preview & Predictions
The God of High School episode 5 ended with Mori winning the GOH preliminaries in Seoul. What will happen in the next episode? Let’s dig in.
First of all, a disclaimer that the next episode will, in no way, beat the awe-inspiring action sequence of episode 5 so keep the hopes down.
I. Episode 4 Predictions
As things stand, there is not much to be predicted for the sixth episode of the God of High School. Now that prelims have ended, we might see the winners from the other regions of Korea.
It is unlikely that the GOH tournament for the entire Korea will begin from the next episode. Episode 6 will likely take some time to introduce some characters. Also, we are yet to decide the runner-up of Seoul prelims.
Will the GOH anime pay heed to the manga and explain the mysteries about the mysterious organization and Mori’s grandpa, or will it continue skipping chapters like the previous five episodes?
II. Episode 6 Spoilers
Episode 6 will likely cover chapters 42 to 45 of the Season 2 of God of High School webtoon and likely provide some context based on the previous episodes. There are three events that will likely happen in the next episode.
Mira Yoo will battle against Byeon to decide the runner-up for the Seoul Prelims. It is evident that Mira Yoo will win her upcoming match and acquire the 3rd position.
We will also be introduced to Mujin Park’s fellow members of ‘The Six’ such as Bongchim Nah, Jaeson Jeon, and Hallyang Seo.

4. Episode 5 Recap
Episode 5, titled “ronde/hound,” starts with Daewi’s flashback of his high school days with his best friend – how they fought on the roof of the school and their friendship began.
Skip to the current events, we see the 2nd match of semi-finals – Mori Jin vs. Byeun Jahee. Byeun shows his extensive strength but his beaten by an angry Mori in a couple of blows.
We then see Mori sitting behind Mira, while the former thinks it’s all Daewi’s fault, Mira claims it to be her own weakness. Daewi is also in the hospital, in his friend’s ward.
The finale begins the next day! The breath-taking and awe-inspiring battle between Daewi Han and Mori Jin shakes the entire stadium. Meanwhile, we see Mira getting discharged and accidentally visiting Daewi’s friend’s ward where Judge P is also present.
The bloody battle between Daewi and Mori continues with both of them seem to be taking an equal amount of damage. Right after Mori is down, Mujin appears at the ring side and informs Daewi about his friend’s death and Han just loses his willpower.
We see Mori beating a guard-less Daewi like anything until Mira appears and informs the latter about his friend’s dying message. Daewi learns the importance of life and his own desires and springs into action.
You can just see how much both of them are enjoying this fight with their closes friend. Daewi performs his strongest move – ‘the wave of the Blue Dragon.’ Mori retaliates with a copy of Daewi’s move – ‘Mori Jin Original: the kick of the Blue Dragon’ and wins the GOH Seoul Prelims.

The God of High School or GOH is a South Korean webtoon written by Yongje Park. God of High School was first posted on Naver Webtoon on 8 April 2011; it was one of the first webtoons to receive an English translation at the launch of Line Webtoon app and website in July 2014.
