The God of High School, by Yongje Park, is a famous Korean manhwa webtoon currently in its sixth season Re: Battle with Gods.
The God of High School anime’s third episode came out this Monday and the third round of the tournament began.
We saw some of the most notable fights from the manhwa webtoon such as Mira Yu vs. Miseon Mah, Mori vs. Q, and Daewi vs. Baek.
GOH episode 3, titled “wisdom/kingdom,” anime kicks off from the chapter 13th chapter of the manhwa webtoon and ends at the end of chapter 21.
We see that the capital arena of God of High School tournament’s coming to its end. GOH episode 4 will be coming out next Monday, let’s talk about that now.
1. God of High School Episode 4 Release Date
Episode 4 of The God of High School anime will be released on Monday, July 27, at 7:30 am PDT. The title for the next episode has not been revealed yet.
In the next episode, we will see Mujin Park and other executives making a decision on Mori’s rule violations – the most accurate punishment is disqualification. Does that mean Mori Jin is out of the tournament?
It will be interesting to see how things pan out in GOH Episode 3.
2. Episode 4 Preview & Predictions
The God of High School episode 3 ended with Mori Jin vs. Executive Q.
A lot of information was teased in this episode such as ‘the key,’ the fruit that Mori ate, and the huge Joker created by Q.
Hopefully, we will get the answers to some of those question in the next episode of GOH. Let’s begin with the predictions first. There is a lot that could happen in the fourth of episode GOH anime. An exclusive preview was also released for the fourth episode:
The preview for the fourth episode of The God of High School anime shows Mira Yoo in a wedding gown along with her uncle and stepsister, waiting to be married.
The next episode will show events from the manga as Mira makes a bad decision of marriage out of family responsibilities while Mori and Daewi vows to stop her!
I. Episode 4 Predictions
Now that Mori Jin is back in the game after defeating Executive Q, he will be fighting in the Semi Finals of the God of High School Tournament, Capital Edition. There is a high chance that he will fight one of Daewi Han and Mira Yoo.
In addition to this, we might be told more about the mysterious ‘Bongchim Nah,’ or the suspicious fruit eaten by Mori Jin in the third episode.

II. Episode 4 Spoilers
The third episode covered the webtoon chapters 13 to 21. Episode 4 will likely cover chapters 23 to 30 of the Season 1 of God of High School webtoon: The Battle with Gods.
According to the webtoon, the most exciting thing happening in the next episode will be the pretty one-sided fight between Mira Yoo and Daewi Han.
Judging by the pacing followed by Crunchyroll, this is highly unlikely but another event that might happen in the next episode would be Mira Yoo’s could-have-been marriage. YES! Mira was about to get married…wait till you see what happened.

I. Making of God of High School
Watch the interview of creator Yongje Park, the director Sunghoo Park, and the animation producer, Wataru Kawagoe.
4. Episode 3 Recap & Discussion
Episode 3, titled “wisdom/kingdom,” starts with the introduction of mysterious cult organization, Nox. We see various Nox members from the webtoon such as Bishop Sujin Lee, Bishop Manduk Sang, and Priest Drake McDonald.
(Ps…In case you are a believer too – they are the bad guys…just saying!)
The alleged leader (Manduk Sang) of the cult (Nox) talks about the ‘key’ that they require to fulfil their wish and work according to the will of the God.
The focus shifts back to the GOH tournament – Executive P/ Judge P tells exclaims that both the fighters from last match – Gamdo Go and Mansuk Gang, are out of commission and unable to fight.
While the Gamdo is pretty physically torn up from his fight with Mansuk Gang, the latter, on the other hand, is mentally traumatized from the beating he god from Mori Jin. (I know! Mori is sooo cool!)
All the executives then discuss with Mujin Park about Mori’s punishment. Fortunately, or unfortunately.
The time has come for two of the strongest female participants to duke it out in the ring.
The next match is pro-wrestler Miseon Mah, who has the strength throw boys around with suplexes like they are plastic toys, vs. Mira Yoo, the master swordsman from Moon-light Sword-style Dojo.
Their fight is an interesting one as whatever Mira throws at Mah she endures it and retaliates back. By the end, Mira uses the no-sword style to beat Miseon like she’s a piece of paper.
Right after the match, Mujin Park tells Mori Jin that tomorrow he will be fighting with Executive Q – to which Mori replies that he’d rather fight ‘Blondie’ (Executive R) as it’s against his principles to attack someone who wears glasses. (Just look at his audacity!!!)
Executive Q then shows his strength by punching Mori in the face, after which, Mori agrees to the fight. The day ends and everyone returns to their home – Mori is eating some fruits given to him by Mujin Park himself. (Mysterious, right?)
Mori reaches home and eats the last fruit – a peach. But that is no ordinary peach! Executive P asks Mr. Park as to why he gave Jin something that is not allowed by Bongchim Nah himself.
Mori then eats the mysterious fruit and starts coughing blood until he’s unconscious in his house. Next day, the tournament resumes with Daewi Han vs. Seungcheol Baek.
The third match will be between Daewi Han and Seungcheol Baek. The former is a straightforward guy with an indomitable will while the latter is a literal genius both in academia and martial arts.
Daewi wins. Baek, with no doubt, is strong and pushes Daewi into a corner where he is just about to lose.
However, Daewi’s physical strength rivals the strongest of GOH characters. He makes a comeback with the strongest move of Kyokushin Karate: The Four Guardian Gods.
Next up is Mori vs. Executive Q and the former has not reached the arena yet. Mori somehow reaches the arena in bad health. As soon as the match begins, Mori without wasting any time, dashes towards Q to surprise him.
He then removes Q’s glasses and manages to make Q fall, thus winning the match. This makes Executive Q very angry and he calls forth his Charyeok, ‘The Joker.’

5. What happens next? – MAJOR SPOILERS
Please note that the content ahead contains major spoilers from the webtoon, however to keep the interest of the reader I have hidden the outcome of each user. You are welcome!
I. ITF Taekwondo vs. RE Taekwondo
Around two decades before the current timeline, North Korea started some experiments with their USSR and Chinese allies using their technology and 5000-year old history of Chinese Kenpo (Kung Fu).
The result was the creation of strongest combat-style martial arts – Northern-style Taekwondo, aka ITF Taekwondo. Yes, this is the one practiced by Manseok Gang.
The first user and creator of ITF Taekwondo singlehandedly invaded South Korea and defeated several soldiers without any weapons.
Upon his capture, 50 marital artists from the entirety of South Korea were called to fight this prisoner of war and he defeated all of them alone.
One of the fifty was Mori’s grandfather Taejin Jin, the current strongest character in The God of High School series.
Upon President’s orders research was conducted and Taejin Jin managed to create a Southern-style Taekwondo which filled all the gaps in the ITF and was several folds stronger.
It was called the Renewal Taekwondo or RE Taekwondo, currently practiced by Taejin Jin and his adoptive grandson Mori Jin.
II. Mori meets Bongchim Nah
Bongchim Nah, also known as ‘The Divine Doctor,’ is a member of The Six alongside Mujin Park. After suffering the shameful defeat from Taejin Jin, he ate the mysterious fruit, Divine Pellet, and locked himself until he could achieve the mental capacity.
This is the same fruit that Mujin gave Mori Jin in the third episode. Originally, in the webtoon, Mori eats the fruit accidentally when he frees Bongchim by mistake. Even though this particular scene was cut, we can see Mori suffering from the effects of the Divine Pellet.
In the next episode, he will likely need Bongchim Nah to operate on him and make him alright.
III. Taejin Jin vs. Nox
This is something that happens early in the webtoon and will not be shown in the anime any soon.
Why do I say this? It seems like Sunghoo Park has something else planned for Mori’s adoptive grandfather as all of his appearances have been cleverly removed from the anime.
So, in all likelihood, Taejin Jin’s fight with the Nox will be shown later in the anime.
IV. Mira’s marriage with Ohseong
Yet another event that will most likely not be properly shown in the anime. In the webtoon, Mira meets the young chairman of the Ohseong group. Mira Yoo will resign from the tournament to marry him.
Don’t worry! Mori and Daewi will be there to stop her – also Ohseong does not like Mira and is a member of the Nox here to take Mira’s sword. (Outrageous!!!)
V. Mira vs. Daewi
The first match of the God of High School semifinals is one of the most gut-wrenching matches. Daewi Han’s nature will change from a chivalrous man to a street fighter.
He will attack her with everything he’s got and with every tactic in the book, be it good or bad.
