In the past scenes of Gleipir, a shadowy hand had recovered a gold-colored coin and set it in a vending machine, out of which climbed a young man and inquired as to whether the hand was the person who discovered it. Suichi Kagaya, a young person, was offered a spot at a school, but he dismissed it for seeming normal, so his proposal was given to his batch-mate, Nana Mifune.

Kagaya saw a fire and sensed a young lady was inside the fire. He uncovered that a while before, he got an unexplained capacity to change into a monster taking after a mascot outfit.

He saves the girl; however, she gets inebriated by her fragrance and nearly attacks her. He figures out how to stop but drops his cellphone.

The following day, the young lady, Kurea ‘Clair’ Aoki, confronted him with the phone and told him that she knows he is a beast and pushed him from the school rooftop. This constrained him to change into his monster form to save himself, Aoki snapped a photo of this so she can extort him.
