Elena’s friend Naoto remembers when he attended the cram school with Elena, Kagaya, and his other friends. Months before Kagaya got his powers, Naoto had dated someone named Aiko, but their other friend, Honoka, had disappeared. Aiko persuaded them not to look for her.
Kaito followed Aiko to meet the alien who told them how Honoka transformed into an Aiko lookalike. Honoka, jealous of Aiko’s better life, murdered the real Aiko to take her form.
Naoto, Kagaya, and Elena chose to ignore it. However, Kaito followed Honoka to find Aiko’s body and strangled her in revenge. Later it is revealed that Aiko killed herself, and Honoka took advantage of her death to become the new Aiko.
