The second season of Girlfriend Girlfriend started its sail very smoothly. The last episode was a perfect combination of fun and emotions as we see a bit of tears and a lot of laughs.

In the preview of the next episode of Girlfriend Girlfriend Season 2, we hear Risa-chan saying how Mirika will be making a lot more moves on Naoya from now on. And we, in fact, see her making some extreme moves on Naoya.
We can expect to see a continuation of this Camping arc next episode and what kind of moves Naoya has to defend against. We also see a glimpse of a scene that reminds every watcher of a classic rom-com event: a bravery test in the forest.

3. Recap of Episode 5
The episode kicks off with Shino’s confrontation with her feelings for Naoya. No matter how much she denies the feelings, the first few minutes into episode 5 makes them very obvious to the watchers.
When listening to what happened between Naoya and Nagisa after they got separated from her at the fireworks festival, Shino suddenly leaves the room, saying they don’t feel bad for Saki at all, while in reality, she was the one hurt after hearing all that. She burst into tears as soon as she gets into her room.
The next day, a mysterious package arrived for Saki that more or less said that she had won a camping gear set along with a free campsite coupon. Soon, it is revealed to be Mirika’s attempt to lure out Naoya.
When Naoya and his team reached the campsite and started setting up the camp, Shino was scoffing at Saki as she forgot to kiss Naoya during the fireworks festival. Later, when Naoya asks Saki to fill up the water jar, Shino snatches it as she says she’ll do it and that Saki should stay behind with Naoya.
While Shino was filling the jar with water, Saki came up from behind and attempted to surprise Shino with some very questionable methods. After a while of fooling around, she sincerely apologizes to Shino for making her worry, but the serious mood is broken in a moment as she once more continues with her “questionable” actions.
A while later when the two of them were having a serious chat Saki received a call from Naoya who seemed to be in distress. When they reached the campsite, they found that the problem was Naoya and Nagisa both failing at their job of setting up the tent and starting a fire.
Just then, Mirika arrived there all of a sudden as she was waiting for this perfect moment. As the group starts to figure out that this is no coincidence, Mirika lays out the truth. A short while after this, she makes food for the group, which all of them refuse to eat, remembering some past experiences, but their empty stomach gets the best of them.
After having lunch, Naoya asks Mirika why she’s so indifferent even after what happened between them at the fireworks festival. To answer this, Mirika says that she’s doing this because Naoya has started to like her a bit. After this shocking statement, when Saki asks Naoya what’s going on, he says this is not something he can deny.
While a fight breaks out between Naoya and Saki, Mirika’s little sister Risa comes to realize the complex truth about Naoya’s relations. Guess what she did right after the realization: she slapped her sister immediately and went on about how she deserves a better man.
Near the end of the episode, Mirika declares war with Saki and Nagisa for Naoya’s love. Soon, the unconscious Naoya wakes up for a moment just to say he’ll never make Saki and Nagisa sad. But before he could finish his sentence, he fell asleep. Eventually, the others, too, because, of course, Mirika laced the meal with sleep medicine this time too.
