After Ghost of Tsushima Legends’ release, Sucker Punch never rested on its laurels. The multiplayer game has been the subject of umpteen minor updates, consistent revamps, and cosmetics. A brand new Rivals mode that set players against each other was also released.
Amid such overhauls, enthusiasts of Survival kept twiddling their thumbs for their beloved mode to get some love. Fortunately, Sucker Punch didn’t turn a blind eye towards gamers and has now announced fresh content for Survival Mode.
Before this newly-launched update, Survival Mode comprised only four maps that were initially rolled out on October 21, 2020. There’s a limit to which even the most passionate players can replay the same content. Consequently, many fans were agitated about the tedious scenario.
Good things come to those who wait, and luckily for gamers, the situation is all set to change!
Two new maps have been announced for the Survival Mode of Ghost of Tsushima Legends: Twilight and Ashes and Blood and Steel.
Taking you into the realm of Iyo, Twilight and Ashes is already available for you to immerse yourself. On the other hand, Blood and Steel is another map that the game will house. It is based on Iki Island and will release next week on October 1, 2021.
You don’t have to spend a buck to access these maps too! Both of them are available for free regardless of whether you own Ghost of Tsushima or Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.
Moreover, there is no need for you to purchase the game’s Director Cut to play Blood and Steel.
As of now, a lot is not known about Blood and Steel, but with Twilight and Ashes out, one can see that it is a map that’s going to favor hunters as it packs abundant vantage points.
This is terrific news for both the developers and gamers. Enthusiasts are going to get to lose themselves in mesmerizing new maps, and Sucker Punch will see old gamers coming back to give new content a shot.
With Ghost of Tsushima: Legends now standalone, one can expect developers to frequently freshen up the title just as they are right now. Just like Survival, players can expect Rivals Mode to get backed with exciting stuff every now and then!
