Genshin Impact to Introduce Two Archons for Fontaine Region

Genshin Impact introduces new playable characters to its roster in every update. The current update added two new Anemo users to the game, Faruzan, a member of Sumeru Akademiya, and the Wanderer, one of the 11 Fatui Harbingers.

According to a recent leak, Genshin Impact will be featuring two new characters from the Fontaine region in a future update.

The Fontaine characters’ model art was posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit. Hoyoverse has not confirmed this rumor yet, but the Fontaine region is expected to arrive a few months later to Genshin Impact.

This leak is also in correspondence with earlier rumors regarding two Archons in Fontaine. One of the concept arts is based on Seele from Honkai Impact 3rd, Hoyoverse’s second most popular title.

Even the second character matches that for the other Archon to some extent. Her color theme implies that she could be a Geo user, hopefully, with a five-star rarity.

Hoyoverse is known to borrow character designs from Honkai Impact 3rd. Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Venti, and several other characters from Genshin Impact, are heavily inspired from the players at Honkai.

The main city of Fontaine is rumored to be attached to a vertical platform, surrounded by waterfalls. The Hydro nation will be placed west of the Liyue region.
