Genshin Impact version 3.5 is officially set for a launch in the coming week. However, the proactive leak community has been focusing on something even beyond.
Update 3.6 is set to have two new male characters added to the roster – 5-star Baizhu and 4-star Kaveh. Although both these characters have been featured in several in-game quests and cutscenes peppered across the game, v3.6 will be the first time they’ll be playable characters.
Baizhu has been revealed as a Dendro 5-star unit and will most likely yield a catalyst as his weapon. Kaveh is also reported to be a Dendro character but will wield a Claymore as a weapon.
Since official dates haven’t been released yet, the players can expect Baizhu to show up in the first half of the Genshin Impact v3.6 update and Kaveh to feature in the second half.
Genshin Developer HoYoVerse hasn’t shared much information officially. But according to leakers, Baizhu is likely to be a supporting character with healing abilities.
Baizhu’s elemental bursts are said to cast some shield that can take on various forms. The word on the street is that Baizhu was originally made to be made a more powerful character. However, he was nerfed to restrict him strictly to a supporting class character in beta.
Kaveh, on the other hand, as told by leakers, is said to be able to boost Dendro attacks. He can perhaps act as some “battery” to collect and build up Dendro energy for other characters.
While Genshin leakers barely miss the target, plans can change. HoYoVerse has taken the legal course recently, going as far as courts in California to subpoena Twitter and find the identity of leakers. Nothing is flowing quite as it did. However, the leakers are still doing community service for the fans and giving them new information.
V3.5 comes out on March 1st, and the update introduces two new characters – the pyro-user Dehya and Cryo user Mika. Thus, the roadmap for Genshin seems solid, with much new content coming up to keep the fans engaged.
