Genshin Impact’s Kuki Shinobu: Release date & What to expect? 

Anyone who’s been hearing bits about Genshin Impact’s new Arataki gang member, Kuki Shinobu, is left utterly captivated. Announced to be a supporting character, Kuki Shinobu uses electro-vision to both heal her teammates and deal with the constant harm that comes off from the war zone. 

Since Shinobu was first teased, fans have been wanting to get their hands on her so they can discover all the tricks up her sleeve. Therefore, in this guide, we’ll be discussing when the character banner introducing her will start and when her hangout event will go live. 

Genshin Impact Update 2.7: Kuki Shinobu’s Release Date 

As revealed in the live stream of Genshin Impact’s Update 2.7, Kuki Shinobu will be introduced to the game as a part of the upcoming banner called Oni’s Royale, which will run from June 21 at 15:00 PT, 17:00 BST, and 18:00 ET to July 12. 

Besides Shinobu, the banner will also star the demon-blooded five-star Geo gang leader Arataki Itto and fellow four-star characters Chongyun and Gorou. On top of this, players will also be allowed to join the test run event to give these featured characters a shot in a fixed environment.  

For those who want to get better acquainted with Kuki Shinobu, a hangout event called “The Gang’s Daily Deeds” will also be permanently available from June 21 onwards, but a few caveats are involved. 

To play it, enthusiasts will need at least Adventure Rank 40 and must have completed Arataki Itto’s story quest Taurus Iracundus chapter: act I – ‘Rise up, golden soul’ and Archon quest interlude chapter: act II – ‘Perilous trail.’ 

Once you fulfill these requirements, nothing can stop you from getting to know Shinobu a little better and finding out if she’s the right fit for your playstyle. This will further help you decide whether you want to invest in Wishes to unlock her or not.
