MSI and Gigabyte RTX 4070 models have been found in EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) listing and RRA (South Korean Radio Research Agency). At least 9 GeForce RTX 4070 models have been listed by MSI and Gigabyte in a regulatory filing.
The 9 models that have been listed are:
- MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X 12G
- MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X 12G OC
- MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X 12G OC
- MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X 12G
- MSI RTX 4070 GAMING X TRIO 12G
- MSI RTX 4070 GAMING TRIO 12G
- MSI RTX 4070 SUPRIM X 12G
- MSI RTX 4070 SUPRIM 12G
- GIGABYTE RTX 4070 EAGLE OC
Through the MSI and Gigabyte listings, we can see that the 12GB memory for the RTX 4070 graphics cards is more than confirmed at this point. The new listings also confirms that MSI will launch dual-fan models of their Ventus Series (Ventus 2X).
The 12GB memory capacity is expected to be evenly distributed across the 192-bit memory bus width of the AD104 GPU which forms the basis of the SKU.
In spite of having fewer CUDA cores than the RTX 4070 Ti at 5,888 compared to 7,680, the memory subsystem of the 4070 will feature 21 Gbps-rated GDDR6X memory chips, providing up to 504 GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The information above has been confirmed through regulatory filings for multiple custom-designed RTX 4070 board models by MSI themselves.
Rumors also suggest that NVIDIA may release two separate SKUs for use specifically by board partners. Although it’s still unclear if any of these cards will feature the modern 16-pin power connector or the standard 8-pin variant.
The highly anticipated GeForce RTX 4070 is set to launch on April 13th, featuring AD104-250 or 251 GPU variants with 5888 CUDA Cores, all operating within a 200 to 225W TDP.
