Garage: Bad Dream Adventure To Receive English Localization

First released in 1999, the Japanese horror game Garage: Bad Dream Adventure is set to roll out yet again, that too, in English. This time, Garage will be made available on smartphones. It will receive several in-game tweaks to make it a hit in the current ecosystem.

Garage: Bad Dream Adventure is a point & click game that honestly is an underrated genius. Way too ahead of its time! The kind of visuals it packs will not let you sleep at night. If you do, you’ll be greeted by nightmares. 

The imagery will make you uncomfortable and the background music has a sad, ‘funeral vibe’ to it. Torturous, just like horror games should be!

Even despite having every element, Garage: Bad Dream Adventure failed to achieve heights one would expect it to. Simply because its copies just weren’t available anywhere; Offline or online. Hence, the hype surrounding it kicked the bucket.

YouTube sure did its bit in making people realize how amazing a game Garage is despite it being in Japanese. But then again, playing a game is any day better than watching someone’s walkthroughs.

Luckily so, this isn’t the end of the road for Garage: Bad Dream Adventure.

The sheer enthusiasm of the gaming community towards this gem has led to Garage being released yet again. The designer of this game started a funding campaign on Campfire and has received 8 million yen so far.

Garage: Bad Dream Adventure is re-releasing by the name of Garage: Complete Edition and will release for mobile phones. The horror game will receive English localization this time. Moreover, it has been confirmed that several in-game tweaks will be housed by the click and point game.

The creators said, “In this project, we would like to realize scenarios that may have gone deeper, scenery that seems to convey the feel of darkness.” 

Therefore, better visuals, new endings, and simple puzzles are to be packed by the new Garage.

Currently, the game is under development and there is no news about its launch.
