Pathfinder is a fantasy RPG series that was published in 2009 by Paizo Publishing. The first edition of the game is based on edition 3 of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) published by Wizards of the Coast and is also intended to be backward-compatible with that edition. Pathfinder 2nd Edition, the first major revision of the original game, was released in August 2019.
