Hollow Knight,2017’s Metroidvania video game, was created and released by indie studio Team Cherry. In the game, the player takes control of the Knight, an eponymous insectoid warrior that travels across the destroyed kingdom of Hallownest that is afflicted by a paranormal illness.
The game takes place in a variety of underground settings and includes both friendly and antagonistic insectoid characters as well as a large number of monsters.
