The plot of the game is set between the timeline of Half-Life and Half-Life 2. In a post-apocalyptic dystopian world, gamers play as Alyx Vance and repel the rule of intergalactic species. By controlling Alyx, you have to go on a grueling quest to snatch a superweapon that belongs to the evil hands of Combine, the sinister extraterrestrial force.
Half-Life: Alyx received plaudits throughout the world for its astonishing graphics, atmospheric tone, and gameplay. The cherry on top was definitely the work of voice actors which ultimately added to an already addictively compelling game.
