Diablo III is a hack-and-slash action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and is the third instalment in the Diablo franchise.
Similar to the previous games in the series the players are tasked with choosing a character-class and work to defeat the Lord of Terror, Diablo. Along with that, the game also features numerous expansions that further expands the lore of the game.
Diablo III was released on Microsoft Windows and OS X in May 2012, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in August 2014 and on the Nintendo Switch in November 2018.
