Based on Vespa’s 3D role-playing game, the TV anime series King’s Raid made us all want to swing a holy sword in 2020.
Thanks to Funimation, KING’S RAID: Successors of the Will will now be available for streaming in English dub.
This news comes an whole year after its premiere in October 2020, which had us hooked with twenty-six action-packed episodes.
The first thirteen episodes of KING’S RAID: Successors of the Will will be available in English dub on Funimation.
Jonathan Klein is in charge of the English dub at Central Command Studios. Rachelle Heger and Deborah A. Crane have joined the team as scriptwriters, while New Generation Pictures, Inc. is in charge of the English recording.
According to Funimation, the plot of the anime is as follows:-
A century has passed since King Kyle of the Orvelia kingdom destroyed the fierce demon lord Angmund, restoring peace to the lands. But serenity was not meant to last forever—with the news of new demon appearances reaching the ear of young squire Kasel, who bands together a group of companions that embark on a journey to locate the fabled holy sword to defeat the new enemies.
The original characters Rihito and Lupine were brought to life by Ryōta Suzuki and Yoshino Nanjō.

About King’s Raid
Set in the world of sorcery and sword, a century after the defeat of demon King Angumondo by King Kairu of Orvelia. Our protagonist, Kasel, is apparently a squire who lives in these peaceful times.
However, his destiny has some other plans for him when he hears that the demons are reappearing on the land and causing chaos.
Kasel, with his companions and one wise man, embarks on an adventure to exterminate the darkness, which is lurking on his peaceful land and become the Chosen Warrior of the ‘Holy Sword Aea.’
