Funimation and Crunchyroll Bag My Hero Academia Season 5; Streaming from March 27

After dreaming about the past One For All users, Deku had woken up to his own quirk acting berserk. This was what the last episode of My Hero Academia’s Season 4 had in store before it came to an end.

All of us fans, who were glued to the screens, were desperately waiting for Season 5 to see what happens next. The announcement of Season 5’s premiere in March was like music to our ears and we couldn’t wait for the premiere.

But, some of us international fans were still worried whether we would get to watch the English Sub or Dub of My Hero Academia Season 5. Don’t worry! I have some awesome news for you.

Both Crunchyroll and Funimation will be streaming My Hero Academia’s Season 5 on their own platforms from 27th March.

These two platforms will start streaming on March 27, the same day as the Japanese broadcast schedule on channels like YTN and NTV.

While Funimation has announced that it will be streaming the original Japanese version of Season 5 with English subtitles, they have also confirmed that they will be releasing the simuldub at a later date.

Crunchyroll will also start streaming My Hero Academia Season 5 from March 27th.

The regions Crunchyroll can be streamed from includes U.S.A, Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

Various teasers, visuals, and PVs have already hyped us up enough to fully enjoy the season’s premiere. The latest one is the one where we witness quite the action-packed fight between heroes from class 1A and 1B.

Season 5 will pick up the pace from the manga’s Joint Training arc and show us Deku’s sheer determination once again.

About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters additionally collected in 37 tankōbon volumes as of February 2023.
