Samantha Bee is back to talk politics with the world! TBS renewed the Emmy Award-winning talk show for a sixth season and has now revealed its premiere date. Her show has continued to satirize political issues to a comedic effect and has enlightened and educated the public. Full Frontal remains one of the top-rated shows on the network and boasts nearly 3.5 million viewers per episode.
Last season, the episodes were filmed in Bee’s home with the help of her husband/executive producer Jason Jones. This season, she is returning to the studio and will talk about the presidential election that was held in November and its ensuing chaos.
Bee has been essential in shining a light on many political and cultural issues, which has resulted in a change in policies. It is with the show that Bee pioneered the #MailedIt campaign in support of the United States Postal Service and has covered global concerns like climate change and child marriage.
For its segment Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Full Frontal received an Emmy in the Outstanding Writing category. Bee herself was included in TIME’S 100 Most Influential People list for her contributions to social causes.
Season six of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee premieres on January 13th, 2021, at 10:30 ET/PT.
