I’m sure Hiro got swept up by the moment after saving that girl and seeing Tesla in action, but I agree with Reona here. He should think about it before joining the City Guards.

It looks like the Stockholm Syndrome is starting to take effect. Hiro is starting to love KQ, and he just hasn’t realized it yet. He’s still definitely riding that high after saving someone in the game.

Based on the fact that Kamui also had a guide for this event, it’s sure to say that he owned hundreds of consoles when he was making that guide to try every different route in that game.

Episode 8 of the Full Dive (2021) anime, titled “Enlistment and Baptism”, has been released on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Hiro doesn’t know why suddenly there is so much disturbance in the town. Hiro and Reona see people running here and there for their lives. He asks a few people, but everyone ignores him, running for their lives.

He gets to know that a goblin hoard has attacked the town, and this is the first time goblins have attacked the town since a moat protects it.

However, a prolonged drought in 50 years has dried up the moat, making way for goblins to invade the City of Ted.

Hiro thinks that this is an opportunity for him to fight with goblins and become a hero of the city. But Reonna tells him the side effects of dying in the game.

Just when he decides to quit the game, he sees a little girl in danger. So, he decides to save the girl. 

Hiro asks the blacksmith to remove rust from his sword so that he can slay the goblins. But the blacksmith tells him to go away as he has no time for such things.

Hiro insists that he can save everyone by killing the army of goblins. After a while, the blacksmith teaches Hiro how to remove rust from the sword.

Later after fixing the sword, Hiro and Reona head out to fight with the goblins. Hiro remembers his promise to Martin that there will be no death in this game world. He slays the goblins with the help of the City Guards, and their chance of survival increases from o.1 to 5%.

Things go back to normal when Tesla arrives. Telsa suggests Hiro join the army, and he accepts his suggestion. In the end, he exits the game. After returning from school, he decides to return to the website for some guidance.
