In the 12th and the last episode of the Full Dive, Tesla killed Alicia as she came in between while trying to save Hiro.
Hiro swore to kill Tesla and attacked him. But he opened his eyes in a different dimension where he met Martin. Then, he returned back with Martin’s magical cursed blade.
Hiro tried to kill Tesla with the blade, but Queen Govern kicked his legs from behind, allowing Tesla to kill him and destroy his console.
After Kamui told Hiro that he could restart from an hour before he died, Hiro decided to prepare for a month before re-entering. It’s no surprise that Hiro will re-enter the game but where to go from here? Let’s find out!

1. Episode 13 Preview & Speculation
The ending of Episode 12 confirmed that the story is far from over. In fact, it seems like this entire season was just a prologue, and the real Kiwame Quest will start after this.
Mizarisa was missing in the entire episode. So, we might see her as a helping hand to Hiro in the next season since Alicia will not be there to help him anymore.
Also, it’s confirmed that Hiro is never going to marry Reona despite her hoping so bad for it. But what’s interesting to see is how’ll Hiro tell this to her.
Episode 11 and 12 were definitely a cliffhanger. Nevertheless, the ending left us wanting Season 2 soon. Stay tuned for an update!
2. Episode 13 Release Date
Episode 12 of Full Dive (2021) anime, titled ‘Reality⨯VR,’ concluded Season 1 of the anime series.
Episode 13 will be released as a part of Season 2, which is yet to be announced. We will update the article as soon as an official statement is released from the franchise.
3. Episode 12 Recap
Tesla threatens to kill Hiro as he activates ‘Lightning Extreme Despair’ on his sword. He runs towards Hiro to stab him, but suddenly Alicia comes in front of Hiro and gets stabbed.
She dies after revealing that Martin came in her dream and asked her to forgive Hiro.
This triggers Hiro, and he swears to revenge Alicia’s death. He manages to escape Tesla’s attack by using his speed skill. Everyone, including Hiro, is shocked to see this. And then he realizes that it must be Kamui’s trick that he talked about earlier.
Hiro attacks Tesla with his sword. Reonna is shocked to see his speed and remarks that his moves are exactly like Kamui’s. Suddenly, Hiro’s sword snaps.
Just when Hiro thinks that Tesla is going to kill him, he wakes up in a different world and meets Martin.
Hiro wonders if he had died. He tells Martin about Alicia’s death. Martin holds his hand and asks him to come with him and fight together.
Hiro returns and finds his broken sword turned into a magical cursed blade. Hiro’s blade destroys Tesla’s gold blade. He then prepares to kill weaponless Tesla with his new magical blade.
Later in the real world, Hiro tells his friend about what happened in the game.
He reveals that Govern kicked his legs from behind, allowing Tesla to kill him and destroy his console. But it turns out, the game forcibly logged him out before dying, so he was saved.
His friend offers him that he can rent the game and console from her for free. She even calls him her future husband. His friend asks him to have confidence and try again, but Hiro is utterly demotivated.
It is then revealed that this friend of Hiro is actually Reona. Depressed, Hiro notices a new entry on the screen. As he clicks on it, Kamui reappears.
He tells Hiro a secret technique by which he can restart from an hour before he died.
Hiro decides to prepare for a month before logging in and bring Alicia back. He begins exercising, becomes more enthusiastic for his future, and even becomes closer to his family.
Later, Kamui comes in Hiro’s dream and tells him that he was in the same position as him. This gives Hiro some hope. After a month, he re-enters the game.
