Nothing brings more joy to a fan than knowing that their favorite anime’s new episode which was delayed will come out soon.
In these pandemic times, little things like a new anime episode or manga chapter are what keeps people away from boredom.
Here’s great news for The Fruits Basket fans! Funimation has announced on their Twitter page that episode 6 of season two will be released on Monday, 1st June.
The episode was originally slated to be released on 11th May, but because of the ongoing pandemic, it had to be postponed.
The original Fruits Basket anime was released way back in July 2001 with its last episode airing on 27th December 2001. The present series is a remake of the 2001 series by Funimation. The first season premiered on 6th April 2019 and ended on 21st September 2019 with 25 episodes. The second season premiered on 6th April 2020.
The current series is being directed by Yoshihide Ibata and produced by TMS Entertainment studios. The series is being composed by Taku Kishimoto, and the characters are being designed by Masaru Shindou.

Fruits Basket is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006.
The Sohma family is cursed. All twelve members of the family are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when they are weak, under stress, embarrassed, or when hugged by someone of the opposite sex.
Tohru Honda, an orphaned high school girl, is allowed to live with them, given she doesn’t disclose their secret to anyone.
