The students are being reminded to present their vocation plans and about a parent-educator meeting after the late spring breaks.

Hanajima, Uo, Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru all choose to eat together on the school grounds when Uo proposes Tohru could wed either Yuki or Kyo as opposed to beginning a lifelong education plan.

Tohru and Kyo are welcomed for lunch at Kyo’s lord Kazuma’s home, where he is seen consuming lunch. Tohru offers to prepare lunch for them when Kazuma gets a call from Kyo’s dad. 

Kazuma tells Kyo and Tohru that he needs to go out and will be back soon. He meets Kyo’s dad, who is disturbed by Kyo since the Cat zodiac has him.

Kyo’s dad proposes that Kyo be taken care of in a totally dark room as the reviled feline possesses him. Kazuma confronts Kyo’s dad and says how Kyo has changed; thus, he should do likewise. Kazuma communicates the amount he cherishes Kyo, and he will go to bat for him against anybody.

Tohru understands that she stressed over finding a new line of work and making it all alone later on. She begins crying, and She imagines that all is well, so she doesn’t need to manage such emotions. 

Kyo prods Tohru calling her a little child and says he is so used to her crying, when Shigure made a reference to the bundle of unwashed clothes, saying she shouldn’t stress over the heap of clothing that is up ahead (future), she should begin by washing what’s beneath her feet(the present).

Furthermore, when stress stills discover its way to her, she should enjoy a much-needed break by perusing a book, sitting in front of the TV, or eating Somen with her companions.

Fruits Basket is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. It was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006.

The Sohma family is cursed, all the Twelve members of the family are possessed by spirits of the Chinese zodiac and turn into their zodiac animal when they are weak, under stress, embarrassed, or when hugged by someone of the opposite sex.
