Episode 19 of the Fruits Basket Season 2 anime, titled “There’s No Way, None!” will be released on Monday, August 10, 2020.

2. Episode 19 Preview & Speculation
The preview of episode 19 was not shown at the end of the previous episode. The title is “There’s No Way, None!” we speculate that this episode will continue with Rin waking up and resuming her search to break the Soma family curse.
However, Rin’s ulcer has been acting up due to stress, but Tohru is by her side this time. Viewers have expressed despise towards Akito for abusing Rin, but agree the previous episode was a tear-jerker.

3. Recap of Episode 18
I. Is She okay?
Episode 18, titled “Wanna Kiss?” begins with Hiro and Satchan exchanging excitement about the birth of Hiro’s younger sibling, when his mother greets them.
Rin passing by across the street gets noticed by Hiro, who runs to ask her about her health and day.
But Rin ignores Hiro, but when he continues to follow her, she tells Hiro not to concern himself with her matters.
In her room, she recalls asking Shigure a way to break the curse, but it turns out he is not aware of the method either.
II. Rin’s Past
Rin searches for documents or anything useful to help Haru, after feeling Shigure dodged her question and was hiding something during their last meeting.
She collapses after falling sick and has her usual nightmare, which mixes with the reality and Rin mistakes Tohru as her parents, who were about to yell at her.
Tohru realizing Rin’s suffering hugs and comforts her.
The childhood abuse Rin faced and her first meeting with Haru are bought to light.
III. The One who Falls has to get Back Up.
Younger Rin gets admitted to the hospital with Kazuma and Haru by her side. When her parents arrive, they tell Rin she wasn’t needed and abandon her.
When Rin falls into despair after hearing their words, Haru stands up for her and asks her parents to apologize, but they leave ignoring his statements.
Rin and Haru grow up together, meeting as friends but eventually fall in love.
They profess it and kiss, but Rin soon has to face Akito after learning that Rin and Haru are dating each other.
Akito physically assaults Rin and repeats the same words, which puts Rin in despair and pushes her off the balcony.
Hiro watches this scene could not help her. Rin cries in her sleep with Tohru watching over her.

Fruits Basket, abbreviated to Furuba or Fruba, is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya.
It was serialized in the semi-monthly Japanese magazine Hana to Yume, published by Hakusensha, from 1998 to 2006.
The series’ title comes from the name of a popular game played in Japanese elementary schools, alluded to in the series.
It tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma, learns that twelve members of the Soma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac and are cursed to turn into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or when they are embraced by anyone of the opposite sex that is not possessed by a zodiacal spirit.
As the series progresses, Tohru learns of the hardships and pain faced by the afflicted Somas, and through her own generous and loving nature, helps heal their emotional wounds.
