5. Episode 14 “I Should Die….” Plot

Episode 14 begins with Yuki being vaguely reminded of his memories of Haru and Rin visiting him in his room.

Every time Rin sat at the corner not wanting to go near Yuki struck him oddly and left him wondering why she visited him in the first place?

I. Grandpa hurt his back

Tohru hears of the news that her grandpa has hurt his back and can’t move, though it’s just strained.

Worried about her grandpa and the upcoming parent teacher conference, Shigure-san swoops in to help her out with this situation and offers to go to Tohru’s parent teacher meeting as her guardian (his real motivation is to go there to watch Mayu’s loathing stare at him). Tohru decides to visit her grandfather.

II. Yuki’s visit to the Soma House

At school Yuki enquires how things are between Haru and Rin to which Haru replies “no progress.” The time Rin said she doesn’t need Haru came crashing back to his memories, which doesn’t ease the hurting Haru.

Yuki heads back to the Soma house to meet with his mother to inform her about the parent teacher conference but doesn’t find her home so he leaves the instructions with their house maids.

While leaving he runs into Kagura who is still suffering from the heartbreak received from Kyo. He remembers Kyo hasn’t been doing well either since meeting her that night.

III. Yuki & Rin

Heading back home Yuki comes face to face with Rin who runs away not wanting to talk to him. Yuki chases her and stops her to get some answers about her situation with Haru.

He cannot shake the thing Haru told him about Rin trying to protect Haru and confronts her by telling her he thinks she broke up with Haru to protect him yet again.

Bringing up his memories of Haru and Rin visiting him back then and Rin sitting by the door to keep watch so Haru doesn’t get into trouble for meeting him.

Rin has an outburst and spills about how Haru’s efforts, but before much is said Haru presents himself on the scene to calm her.

Haru and Yuki even have their long lost sisters moment and the episode pretty much ends with Kyo taking Tohru back home because she collapsed in the middle of the road for some time as she was reminded of her painful memories after her visit to her grandfather.
