Epic Games has now introduced Ghostbusters-themed skins in Fortnite as part of the ongoing Halloween event.
Ghostbusters is undoubtedly one of the most iconic horror comedies of all time, having a massive mainstream cultural impact. Not to mention, the franchise has almost become a staple for every Halloween season, and without a shred of doubt, Epic realizes this.
That said, they have now introduced a total of ten skins in Fortnite that are themed off of Ghostbusters, along with other spooky cosmetics!
However, don’t be hopeful of seeing Bill Murray or Dan Aykroyd because the skins that Epic have introduced here are essentially the familiar characters of Fortnite dressed up in the Ghostbusters’ uniform – the iconic brown jumpsuits, black boots, and gloves. Sadly, and quite unfortunately, there won’t be any Stay Puft Marshmallow Man here.
Though, if I were to state my opinion, these skins honestly look similar to the game’s default characters. Here’s a few of them:
Each skin will cost 800 V-bucks (Basically, a common skin), or you can buy the entire set for 2000 V-bucks.
Other than these skins, some Cosmetics have also been added to the game, and let me tell you, those are the ones you need to look out for.
Coming up first is the insane-looking proton pack that the busters use to vacuum the spirits up. Not to mention, for every enemy you kill, the pack glows more and more! This bad boy is going to cost you 400 V Bucks, so get this if you can!
Along with this, other skins like the spirit trap for 400 V Bucks, the proton pickaxe for 800 V Bucks, and the Electro Glider for 1200 V Bucks have also been added to the game.
With all that said, if Ghostbusters is your thing, as it is mine, be sure to check these out before they disappear, quite possibly, forever!
