Fortnite recently released the trailer for Chapter 5 Season 3 “Wrecked”. Fans are super excited for this season update because it will feature new cosmetics, battle pass, locations, and most importantly, a crossover with Fallout! The Wasteland
Thanks to a gnarly sandstorm, there’s a new biome in the south called the Wasteland which is currently under the control of the “Wasteland Warriors”. Check out the new locations on the map:
- Redline Rig
It is a Nitro refinery run by the master mechanic The Machinist. The Nitro produced here will grant you an absurd amount of power, regardless of whether you’re in a vehicle or not.
- Nitrodome
The Nitrodome is a playground for cars by Ringmaster Scarr. Be prepared for moments of chaos, destruction, and of course, the sound of engines blazing.
- Brutal Beachhead
It is the base of operations or the headquarters of the Wasteland Warriors. You will find the short-tempered Megalo Don here.
Nitro
This is the time to go crazy on Nitro!
Nitro Barrels: Nitro containers which “Nitro-fy” upon contact.
Nitro Splash: A portable Nitro container which can be used to infuse Nitro.
Nitro Fists: Comes with four charges. Perform a 3x punch combo or an uppercut or an aerial punch to send your enemies flying.
In case you’re wondering what the effects of Nitro are:
- on a vehicle–
- Driving speed increases
- Explosive ramming power that deals significant damage and knockback
- Fuel consumption decreases
- Buff to attached attack mods
- on a player–
- Movement speed increases
- Explosive bashing power that deals significant damage and knockback
- Stamina consumption decreases
- Reload speed increases
- Immunity against fall damage
Vehicle Mods
Along with a couple older mods, there are four new mods for you to try out.
- Machine Gun Turret (roof slot): Your passenger can now fire a machine gun while you drive.
- Grenade Launcher Turret (roof slot): Rain hellfire using these explosive grenades.
- Spiked Bumper (front bumper slot): Deals more damage on impact.
- Cow Catcher (front bumper slot): Boosts your ramming power and gives your car some defensive armor.
- Bulletproof Tires (tires slot): Makes tires indestructible.
- Chonkers Off-Road Tires (tires slot): Makes your car more suitable for off-roading.
