Forecasting Love and Weather: Powerful Couple in Making in New Teaser

Ahead of the premiere, JTBC released another teaser for the office romance Forecasting Love and Weather.

The latest teaser offers more hints into special reporter Lee Si-woo (Song Kang) and general weather forecaster Jin Ha-kyung’s (Park Min-young) of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) in a balanced relationship.

The teaser starts with extreme weather scenes that lead to accidents. Weather news reporter Chae Yoo-jin (Girl’s Day’s Yura) asks if there was a warning for the bad weather.

The next scene shows an eager Si-woo boldly expressing his thoughts in a meeting. He points to a place on the map and says,

This is a bomb! I’m telling you, it’s approaching.

The fierce young lead’s warning is met with Ha-Kyung’s calm response.

The theory you’ve presented is not impossible, but right now, the probability is too low.

Unable to convince others, Si-woo storms out of the meeting. The teaser also shows Ha-kyung being promoted to department manager and the youngest to achieve the title, making her skills stand out among others.

She takes charge and leads the department but still can’t figure out Si-woo’s personality. The romance seems to start brewing when Si-woo introduces himself as “the rain that comes in the nick of time” to Ha-kyung.

JTBC paired unique leads for the upcoming office romance drama. Park Min-young is a veteran actress who has worked with Park Seo-joon, Kim Jae-wook, and others.

Meanwhile, Song Kang unleashed his potential through the fantasy-thriller Sweet Home and, since then, has chosen chiefly soft, chocolate boy roles.

The drama’s “noona romance” angle (younger male, older female) receives mixed responses, but all eyes are on the two sharing the screen.

Forecasting Love and Weather (also known as Weather People) will premiere on February 12, 2022, on JTBC.

Forecasting Love and Weather (Korean title: KMA: Cruel Office Romance) is an upcoming South Korean series produced by JTBC and directed by Cha Young-hoon, who also helmed popular romantic series When the Camellia Blooms. It is created by Kang Eun-kyung who co-wrote the series with Seon Yeong.

The drama stars Song Kang, Park Min-young, Yoon Park and Girl’s Day’s Yura as the main leads. 

Weather People revolves around employees at the Korea Meteorological Administration and their intertwined lives. It will focus on the giddy joys and struggles of pursuing an office romance.

The show is set to premiere in February 2022.
