Episode 7 of the Food Wars! The Fifth Plate anime, titled “Crossed Knives,” will be released on Friday, August 14, 2020.
In the next episode, Souma’s Yukihira-style Midsummer Christmas cake will be presented to the judges, and the winner of the match between Souma and Sarge will be announced!

The preview of episode 7, titled “Crossed Knives,” showed the next competition would be between a Noir member and Tsukasa!
But before that, the judges are yet to taste Souma’s Yukihira-style Midsummer Christmas cake, which he has baked with traditional Japanese ingredients!
Will the judges be impressed? It was already a hard battle between Sarge and Souma, who will emerge victoriously?

3. Recap of Episode 6
I. Entering the BLUE
Episode 6, titled “A Midsummer Christmas,” begins with the announcement that the winner of BLUE will be decided in the castle.
Souma and his group have a face-off with the Noir members. The Book Master declares that the third challenge will be to impress three of the WGO’s top judges.
Nikumi sneaked in because the Mito group had to supply meat and fill in the details about the Noir chefs to Souma and the group provided by Eizan senpai.
Sarge stuns the chefs with her delicious cooked meat using her unique technique, Chainsaw Carving.
The judges were in awe of her dish, and the opponents couldn’t comprehend going against Sarge!
Like her, the Noir chefs Marcanta, Claude Ville, and Bunny Hare, who specialize in extraordinarily unconventional but effective cooking techniques, easily pass.
II. The First Round begins!
But the Totsuki academy representatives don’t fall back and prepare the meat dish using their unique abilities.
Hence Souma, Megumi, Takumi, and Tsukasa quickly pass as well. All the candidates enter the BLUE and have to undergo a tournament style match.
Meanwhile, Erina takes on the losers of the third challenge in another gauntlet. In the red corner, Noir’s Sarge will compete with Souma in the blue corner!
Sarge mentions she won’t lose to a person who had failed to Asahi, and the first round is announced with the theme to bake a Christmas cake, which will be the life of the party!
III. Souma Bakes with a Desire to feed the Best Cake.
Sarge begins preparing her meringue with delicacy using her chainsaw technique but using different extensions this time.
Sarge violently makes the other ingredients and brings out her exquisite Cluster Bomb cake!
The judges get blown away by the delicious cake, but Souma, on the other hand, had just returned from shopping at the convenience store and whips out his wooden ice-cream spoon to create his unique cake.
Souma uses traditional Japanese ingredients and bakes the cake using charcoal! He perfectly creates a Yukihira-style Midsummer Christmas cake!
