Flight Simulator’s New Update Turns The USA Into A Dreamscape

The second world update for Microsoft Flight Simulator is finally up, and it brings a ton of visual improvements to the USA, turning it into a country that one would most certainly want to visit.

It wouldn’t really come off as a surprise when I say that Microsoft’s latest Flight Simulator is one of the prettiest games of 2020, bringing with it a level of realism, unlike anything before it.

Now, with its latest update, the game has turned the USA into one of the most pulchritudinous places that you can visit in the game, so much so that you’ll almost want to visit the country in real life as well, exploring all the glorious places it has to offer.

Microsoft Flight Simulator’s new USA World update has real-time versions of four of the country’s most popular airports, that is, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Friday Harbor, and New York Stewart.

Along with that, “an improved digital elevation model with resolution up to one meter, along with new aerial textures for significantly better appearance in several states across the country,” has also been put in place.

More than 50 high-fidelity points have also been placed for you to take in all the breathtaking places of the US, ranging from the Gulf of Mexico, which looks straight out of a post-apocalyptic setting, the Kennedy Space Center, to the all-lit Las Vegas.

For me personally, Grand Canyon and Monument Valley are the places to visit. Trust me, flying through the places at sunset or sunrise feels like entering into a state of reverie that fills you up with serenity.

Here’s the trailer to show what I’m talking about:
