Many PlayStation players who had pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have found that they’re missing the exclusive Oni Operator. This shouldn’t be the case as PlayStation players who pre-ordered the game digitally are supposed to get an exclusive Oni Operator. But thankfully, there’s a workaround for this which will unlock the Oni Operator for you.
To fix the issue of the Oni Operator missing for PlayStation Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players, you’ll first need to go into your console settings and then restore your licenses. Restoring your licenses should fix the issue and you’ll be able to access the Oni Operator.
If you’re wondering how to restore licenses, follow the steps below:
- Go to the PlayStation home menu
- Go to Settings
- Select Users and Accounts
- Select Other
- Press Restore Licenses
- Relaunch Modern Warfare 2 and the Oni Operator should be available for you if you pre-ordered the game digitally on PlayStation.
This workaround was tweeted by Infinity Ward themselves. Check out the official tweet below:
Even if this fix isn’t working for you, you can restart your console once to see if you can access the Oni Operator. Some PlayStation users have claimed that restarting the console can also fix the issue.
