Five Bethesda Games on Xbox Game Pass to Get FPS Boost

Microsoft is going all out to makes us all invest in the Xbox Game Pass! It was only recently that the company announced the arrival of 20 Bethesda titles on Game Pass. Now, it has been confirmed that five of these games will also get FPS Boost Support.

Microsoft’s FPS Boost is a mode that will uplift the FPS of older games. This means that you will be able to play five of Bethesda games at 60 FPS. These are the following titles that will recieve FPS Boost on Xbox Series X/S:

· Dishonored Definitive Edition (1080p)

· Prey (1440p)

· Fallout 4 (dynamic 4K)

· Fallout 76 (dynamic 4K)

· TES V: Skyrim Special Edition (native 4K)

It is not necessary to play the game at 60 FPS. It must be noted that players will also be able to enjoy the games in their original state. You can switch between the FPS modes as and when you want.

If you own Xbox One X, then you will be able to play the listed Bethesda titles, excluding Dishonored Definitive Edition, at a better resolution. Moreover, the tech program will help you enjoy the mentioned games at 4K with 60 FPS on Xbox Series X.

The FPS Boost is not available yet for the five Bethesda projects. Currently, the mode supports only five games: Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs 2, UFC 4, Sniper Elite 4, and New Super Lucky’s Tale.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that FPS Boost might not be available for all the titles. The process requires rigorous testing, and some of the last-gen games are not programmed to be compatible with Microsoft’s tech.

Following the purchase of ZeniMax Media (Bethesda Softworks’ Parent company) by Microsoft, the subscription service now houses 534 games across several platforms.
