‘Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō’ is a fun take on a foster parent witch and her human child apprentice. Being a comedy series, it is sure to amuse you in every situation. But it will also confuse you in a visual sense.
Whether you are reading the manga or waiting for the anime, it will take some time to adjust to the ‘illusion of role reversal’. Thanks to the banter between the main characters, it will go easy on you.
On Saturday, the production staff for ‘Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō’ released a promotional video and a key visual. They also revealed more members from the cast and staff, along with the release window of October this year.
The promo captures the comic tone nicely, showing Alyssa facing troubles with parenting Viola. Viola looks like an adult for her age but is strongly emotional as she is 16. Alyssa, being 223 years herself, still cares for her like a child but cannot figure out how not to give in to her whims.
Previously, it was revealed that Nana Mizuki would play Viola, and Aoi Koga would voice Alyssa. Three more members from the cast were revealed:

A slice-of-life fantasy comedy is a great way to unwind yourself. If you are looking for something that does not strictly follow a storyline or has a serious topic, then you got to wait for this one. ‘Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō’ arrives this fall.
