New Halo Teaser Says Official Trailer Coming Out at The Game Awards

Halo, an upcoming series based on the iconic sci-fi video game franchise, will get its first full-length trailer this Thursday at The Game Awards.

Paramount+ posted a short preview clip to build up the hype, revealing the first look at a group of Spartans, running around a base, heavily equipped and preparing for a mission.

Showtime had previously announced that the series will introduce three original Spartans:

Bentley Kalu plays Spartan Vannak-134, a cybernetically augmented supersoldier deputy to the Master Chief.

Natasha Culzac plays Spartan Riz-028 – a focused, professional, and deadly, cybernetically enhanced killing machine.

Kate Kennedy plays Spartan Kai-125, an all-new courageous, curious, and deadly Spartan supersoldier.

Seeing how the preview has teased the Spartan Squad, the full-length trailer might give us a better look at these characters.

This clip comes just weeks after the first teaser reveal that gave us an almost sneak peek at Pablo Schreiber’s Master Chief as we hear Cortana’s voice call out to him, “Hello, Master Chief.”

The series will follow Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 as he “fights to save humanity and bring peace to the galaxy.”

Initially set to air on Showtime, the series has faced many uncertainties since its first announcement in 2013 but will finally see the light of day on Paramount+ in 2022.

Although the series does not have an exact release date yet, it is currently in post-production. So, one could half-expect the streamers to give fans at the very least a tentative date and other details when the trailer debuts at The Game Awards.

The event will air live at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on Thursday, December 9, across all major digital, social, and gaming platforms.
