Your favorite medical crime series is coming back. License To Kill season two is ready for its premiere on August 8.
Oxygen had recently released the first trailer of the upcoming season and it’s not for the faint-hearted, especially given our times when doctors are nothing short of gods in our lives today.
“There is nothing more terrifying than a deranged mind with a license to kill,” says the host of season two of License to Kill, Dr. Terry Dubrow.
The world-renowned plastic surgeon and certified expert for the California Medical Board, Dr. Terry Dubrow, will be returning to the small screen as the host of the brand new season of the Oxygen series, License To Kill. He was earlier seen on another reality series Botched.
In the recently released trailer for the latest season, we can see Dr. Dubrow taking a closer look at cases involving medical professionals who put their patients in jeopardy.
Each episode of the series will follow the horrific story of a doctor or medical professional whose malpractice harms, and in some cases even kills, the patients.
This is no fiction. It is real life. Get to hear from victims, their friends and their families as they recount their horrifying experiences.
They are also seeking justice for all those harmed or put in jeopardy by the ‘doctors’ featured in the show.
The first trailer for season two sees Dr. Dubrow reminding viewers that “doctors and nurses take an oath to first do no harm. But this new chilling season … proves that some medical professionals intentionally cause harm.”
The 60-second clip then goes on to prove his claims. One of the doctors interviewed in the trailer calls the situation a “shop of horrors.” Another person talks about how one woman was killing people’s children to “make a dollar.”
Cases covered in the show include a Las Vegas man who posed as a doctor to perform invasive medical procedures in highly unsanitary conditions, a doctor who over-prescribed opioids to young men, a cosmetic surgeon who preyed on a vulnerable community, a pharmacist who diluted his cancer patient’s chemotherapy treatment and a pain management specialist who got a whole follows addicted to opioids.
The series recounts how authorities stopped these medical professionals’ malpractice to seek justice for the victims. Each one-hour episode is told from the perspective of victims, families, colleagues, and also the law enforcement.
