2. Fire Force Season 3 Episode 2 Recap
The latest episode of Fire Force season 3, titled “Prisoner”, started with Shinra learning The White Clad’s plans with Obi through an Adolla Link. He quickly shared this information with his allies, and the lot decided to quickly depart on their matchbox. Meanwhile, we got to see Obi working out in his cellar, which irked the prison guards. They refused to give him water and blamed him for working out, but Obi defended saying he was way too bored in his cell.

Meanwhile, the news about Obi’s disappearance spread throughout the nation, but with a different narrative. Captain Obi was captured for housing an Adolla Burst user, and Company 8 was now a bunch of insurgents on the run. All other Companies were also alerted on the situation, many of whom were really concerned for their friends, including Hibana, Ogun, and Benimaru. Benimaru was now convinced that the whole nation was moving in a horrible direction, and they had enemies everywhere.

The scene cut to the company 8 members who hid their matchbox and decided to go on foot. Viktor then revealed that he had been on the run for quite a while now, so he could assist them on their journey. He then introduced them to his friend, who has been on the run with him for quite a while now. Everyone was shocked to see that the friend Viktor spoke of was Joker. Although Shinra and others had their reservations due to their past, they decided to go along with him out of respect for Viktor.

Joker then led the whole group into an underground sewer, which was his “secret base”. Over there, he revealed that he knew Obi’s whereabouts, which was Fuchu prison. Since the sewer directly connected to Fuchu prison, their plan was to have Joker and Shinra head out first and have their remaining members follow behind them. On the other side, we got to see Burns having a conversation with Haumea, who revealed that she was ready to brainwash Burns if he didn’t volunteer to join their side.

Burns confessed that he actually understood from their Adolla Link that the evangelist may be a god and came to accept that spontaneous combustion could help people become one with the sun, which is the ultimate desire of the evangelist, and he wanted Obi to experience this pleasure by using the insect on him. For this, they sent an eccentric woman named Gold to Obi’s cellar to have him converted into an Infernal.
3. What To Expect In Episode 3 of Fire Force Season 3?
Since the latest episode of Fire Force season 3 ended with Joker and Shinra making their grand entrance into the Fuchu Prison, we can expect the entirety of episode 3 to be packed with fights, and it’s going to be exciting. The latest episode also featured Obi getting restrained for having the insect inserted into him, so we know that Company 8 is really running out of time. Shinra and Joker have to blast through all kinds of security to save Obi on time.

The remaining members of Company 8 are also heading to Fuchu, and hopefully, they’ll be there in the next episode to provide Shinra with the assistance he needs to save Obi. This also means that they will have to face every Adolla Burst user in the White Clad, so the upcoming episodes are certainly going to be jam-packed with fights.
