Fire Force Season 2 Episode 4: Release Date, Preview, Watch Online

Fire Force is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo.

It follows Shinra Kusakabe is a third-generation pyrokinetic youth who gained the nickname “Devil’s Footprints” to ignite his feet at will. He joins Special Fire Force Company 8, which features other pyrokinetics dedicated to ending the Infernal attacks for good.

Shinra begins to learn that his younger brother’s abduction during the fire that killed their mother 12 years ago is caused by a mysterious doomsday cult behind the Infernal attacks.

Company 8 and their allies oppose the White Cloaks and their Knights of the Ashen Flame, who seek specific individuals like Shinra and his brother Sho to enact a scheme to repeat the Great Disaster.

The second season continues with the story left off from the first, follow up on its latest episodes!

1. Episode 4 Title & Release Date

Episode 4 of the Fire Force Season 2 anime, titled “Groping through the fire,” will be released on Friday, July 24, 2020. 

In the next episode, the battle between Shinra and Charon will continue as the fire spreads throughout the city!

No, episode 4 of the Fire Force Season 2 anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced. The anime comes out weekly every Friday.

In the preview of episode 4, titled “Groping through the fire,” as the fire spreads throughout the town multitude of infernals appear.

The full force of the 8th opposes the White-Clad’s plans, and they need more people for help, another demon infernal turns up! Inca is caught, can Shinra save her?

3. Recap of Previous Episode 3

I. The New Adolla Burst

Episode 3, titled “A new Flashpoint,” begins with Shinra telling the mysterious girl to leave his body when he asks about his mother, she refuses to say to him but gives a little parting gift of information that a new pillar was born.

He wakes up in an infirmary bed, along with others from the 4th, controlled by Haumea. She tells her partner about the fifth Adolla Burst being born.

Shinra shares the same news and about the Evangelist being aware of it to Captain Hague. He explains that the Evangelist is gathering those who possess Adolla bursts and planning to trigger Great Cataclysm.

Hague tells him that he’d come closer to the truth of the great fire when asked about seeing Adolla and then Shinra takes his leave.

II. Shinra’s Conviction

Walking down the street with Arthur, Shinra traces his thoughts back to the various events of the day and hopes to protect the new Adolla burst from the Evangelist.

Arthur tells him how he caused trouble for him today, and Shinra accepts his fault; Arthur attacks him with his sword finding his acceptance odd.

But Shinra opens up about his conviction to protect Sho and his mother and the fifth Adolla burst. Back at the Fire Defense Agency, the chief and Obi discuss their strategy about the reports of the Adolla burst.

Chief hands over the 8th to Obi and Obi ensures the 8th will continue their investigation as usual.

III. The City Under Distress!

Three high school students head back, Inca smells something and heads to the park, Panda and Sancho join her. They go to steal money at the house where the fire is about to start.

They divide the cash, and she explains about the generations of infernal. She gained her power to detect the flames’ path around two years ago when she was trapped in the great fire at the place she used to reside.

For the first time, she felt elated as the flames danced around her and wanted to live. The light she saw was the path the fire would take; this allowed her to escape unscathed.

The mysterious woman comes in a flash and warns Inca about the danger of being born. She watches with excitement as many thick rays of light burst through the city, indicating many fire breakouts.

There is a good chance that she is the fifth pillar the fire troupes conclude. Company 8 each get their mission and set out for their task!

Charon finds Inca in the park and kills her partner; she attacks him with her fire ignition ability and runs away. He tries to catch her, but she can predict even faint heat and dodges him. Shinra arrives at the site and begins the intense battle against Charon!

Fire Force also is known as En’en no Shōbōtai, literally meaning “Blazing Firefighting Corps” is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo.

It is published by Kodansha and has been serialized in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine since September 2015, with the chapters collected into twenty-three tankōbon volumes as of May 2020.

An anime television series adaptation by David Production aired from July to December 2019 on the Super Animeism block. The second season of the Fire Force anime television series is also animated by David Production.

Tatsumi Minakawa replaced Yuki Yase to be the director of the series. The series premiered on July 3, 2020.
