Fire Force tells the story of Shinri “Devil’s Footprint” Kusakabe, a pyromaniac with an ability to light his feet on fire.
He joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 in hopes of meeting other pyrokinetics while putting out fires and investigating corruption among the other companies.
The Fire Force manga created by Atsushi Okubo gathered a huge fan following, thus eventually adapting the story to an anime series. Season 2 of the anime was broadcasted from July 2020.
Season 2 of the anime will be continuing from Episode 19 to 24 with the storyline focusing on the upcoming Operation Nether Investigation arc.
It seems the Fire Force Company 8 will be travelling back down into the Nether to finish their quest.
The key visual for the upcoming episodes 19-24 hints at some new alliances forming in the Nether where the lives of the pyrokinetics are in danger.
This Tatsuma Minamikawa directed season is introducing two new voice actors for the characters Hajiki and Takigi.
Hajiki is the first platoon chief of Special Fire Force Company 2 while Takigi is Maki’s older brother and a detective in the Tokyo Army.

Season 1 premiered in July 2019 with 24 episodes and streamed on platforms like Funimation and Crunchyroll. Season 2 will also have 24 episodes which will conclude the Operation Nether Investigation arc.
