Fire Force Chapter 252: Release Date, Delay, Discussions

I hate it when the Mangaka makes us sympathize with the antagonist just before they kill them off. Did Charon really have to go like that? Just when he climbed up the ladder of my favorite characters in the manga?

At least, Charon’s demise came about in an unexpected but fitting, and sweetest way possible. He went out standing and laughing, as he thought about Haumea. And now I’m sad!

Even as the shield crumbles, he passes away believing in the joy beyond destruction, as the Cataclysm takes place and the real world and Adolla merges.

Is this the end of the world? As fans anticipate an answer, we bring the updates on the next chapter of Fire Force.

1. Chapter 252 Raw Scans and Spoilers

The Cataclysm has begun, and a gigantic eye appears above Amaterasu. With the real world and Adolla being merged, the eye keeps getting bigger.

Dragon and Arthur also notice the eye above them, and Dragon is disappointed that the Knight King couldn’t entertain him enough. He yells at Arthur that it’s too late now and jumps above towards the eye, leaving the fight.

Meanwhile, Charon refuses to just die like that and reflects back all of Hinawa’s attack he had absorbed till then. Will Hinawa survive the counterattack? Will Company 8 be able to stop the Cataclysm at its earlier stage?

Hinawa acclaims that there must be a limit to how much Charon can absorb, as he consecutively shoots Velocity Rampage at him. Charon agrees and states that he is almost at his limit.

As Charon laughs, taking in all the bullets, we receive a flashback of Charon and Haumea.

Back when Haumea was still a child and suffering from hearing all the negative emotions of humans; in an attempt to calm her down, Charon asks Haumea to beat him until she feels better.

Haumea starts to feel better as she hits Charon with a lantern and beats him till she wears herself out and falls asleep. Arrow looks at the injured face of Charon and asks him why didn’t he absorbed all the damage?

Charon replies, saying Haumea’s pain is his pain. And if he can understand even a fraction of that, he’ll take everything she’s got.

Ten years pass since Haumea’s “Adolla Burst” awakened, and she had been using Charon to calm herself down. One day, Haumea asks Charon how he feels about her.

Charon replies saying he never gave it much thought, and asks that maybe Haumea should see inside his head herself.

As Haumea looks inside his emotions, she finds ‘unconditional love’ and blushes away from him.

Back in the present, Charons yells at Haumea to grant earth salvation and cleanse the darkness within her, as he reaches his limit and cannot take Hinawa’s attack anymore.
