Fire Force Chapter 249: Release Date, Delay, Discussions

“Nooooo!!” I know! This was probably everyone’s reaction as they read chapter 248 with their jaws dropped.

Vulcan’s plan to stop Giovanni fails miserably, as it turns out, Giovanni was not using magnetic forces to control his bugs. In return, Giovanni presents Vulcan with another gift of fear and infects Yu with his bugs.

With Yu turning into an infernal, we anticipate the next chapter with bated breaths. Will Vulcan be able to save Yu with the help of intellects from Licht?

As fans wait for an answer, we bring the updates on the next chapter of Fire Force.

1. Chapter 249 Discussion and Prediction

Since Giovanni is not controlling the bugs with magnetic force, fans speculate that either he might be a king/queen bug, which does not require such forces to control the bugs, or he has infused his mind with a queen bug, providing him the power to order the bugs.

Company 8 and Arrow need to take down Charon and Ritsu, and run inside to help Vulcan. As of now, they are just exhausting themselves as long as Ritsu is standing and spawning infernals.

They’ve also got Yu to worry about, and the fight does not seem to be going in their favor. How will they come out of this dire situation by putting a stop to the cataclysm?

3. Where to Read Fire Force

Fire Force is a very popular series and well-received even outside Japan. Despite being so popular, Fire Force remains a Japanese-only manga, and no official release with English translations is available.

All the available English versions of the manga are fan translated, and we strongly recommend that you purchase the volumes instead of using pirated sites to support the Mangaka and the franchise.

4. Chapter 249 Raw Scans, Leaks

As Yu is being infernalized by Giovanni, Vulcan and Lisa desperately look for ways to save her. Licht suggests that Giovanni might be using the bee’s genes to control the bugs and that they need to stop his dance.

Vulcan and Lisa use the Skull Mask to point out the seven different targets showing fake bugs and destroy Giovanni’s body. But what came next, was something no one expected… !

Regaining the bugs around him, Giovanni gives Vulcan yet another “gift.” Giovanni injects a bug inside Yu, and she begins turning into an infernal.

On hearing the cries of Yu, Captain Obi orders Takehisa to go inside and provide aid to Vulcan. However, Charon stands in his way, blocking the gate.

He is determined to stop Company 8 from interrupting the cataclysm, but Takehisa is also resolved on helping Yu and Vulcan.

Takehisa takes out his new model of the barrel, which uses a special material from Haijima, that can stand ‘Velocity Rampage’ multiple times. He bombards Charon with his unceasing Velocity Rampage.

However, Takehisa does not succeed in taking him down, as Charon is seen grinning from ear to ear even after that monstrous attack.

Ritsu shows up with her beautiful wings and reveals that it was actually White-Clad stopping Company 8 from entering, instead of being the other way around, as Giovanni is already inside.
