2. Chapter 233 Release Date

Since chapter 232 was released on 29th August. Chances are that chapter 233 of the Fire Force manga will be released on Saturday, September 5, 2020. It is titled “Guardian Angel.”

3. Chapter 233 Raw Scans, Leaks

According to the raw scans for Chapter 233 of the Fire Force manga:

The next chapter is forwarded to 5 years later, where Shinra and Mari are in the park, he is watching his newborn younger brother, Sho. 

Mari sees baby Sho as an angel while Shinra sees himself as a hero who protects them.

In the present, Sho in Adolla who sees his mother’s memories, he heard that there was a legend about a savior born from a virgin before the Great Cataclysm.

He recalls that the Great Cataclysm is a representation of what humanity had envisioned in the past and realizes that Shinra is the savior of the world everyone currently lives, after the first Great Cataclysm. 

Sho sees white feathers appearing behind Shinra’s back and he realizes that he’s Shinra’s guardian who’ll guide him. The Infernal-Mari is disappearing in the black flames and Sho promises to come back with his brother. 

Back in reality, Sho understands that there is something left to do and goes somewhere along with Arrow. 

On the other hand, Company 8’s new HQ, Obi reminds everyone that there is one pillar left to appear and they must get prepared for their new mission of Recapturing the Tokyo Empire.

Meanwhile, Arrow asks Sho who is Shinra and Sho simply answers that Shinra is the “Hero”.

4. Recap of Chapter 232

In chapter 232, titled, “Mari Kusakabe” The chapter tells the story behind Shinra’s birth. It flashes back to 17 years ago. Where Mari Kusakabe was made aware of her pregnancy after consulting with the doctor. 

She tells the doctor she didn’t know what’s going on and that she didn’t know who her baby’s father was as she has never had any sort of  experience with men before.

When the doctor checks her, it reveals she is still a virgin, but inside her womb, there is a baby growing. The case is called virgin pregnancy. Her parents had disowned her because they didn’t trust her. 

One of the doctors who helps her with her childbirth informs her that maybe the angel is giving her the baby. Maybe he’s a hero. A hero who had come to save the world.

Her mother shows up and says that her child will cause nothing but misfortune. Further, she also says that this was a great opportunity for them to part ways with her. 

Mari didn’t let her mother’s words get to her and believed that her son is a hero and named her baby boy, Shinra.

Fire Force also is known as En’en no Shōbōtai, literally meaning “Blazing Firefighting Corps” is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. 

It is published by Kodansha and has been serialized in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine since September 2015, with the chapters collected into twenty-three tankōbon volumes as of May 2020.

An anime television series adaptation by David Production aired from July to December 2019 on the Super Animeism block. The second season of the Fire Force anime television series is also animated by David Production.

Tatsumi Minakawa replaced Yuki Yase to be the director of the series. The series premiered on July 3, 2020.
