Fire Force is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. It follows Shinra Kusakabe is a third-generation pyrokinetic youth who gained the nickname “Devil’s Footprints” to ignite his feet at will.
He joins Special Fire Force Company 8, which features other pyrokinetics dedicated to ending the Infernal attacks for good.

5. Recap of Chapter 227
I. After His Death
Chapter 227, titled “Regret,” begins with the panel where the son of an infernal stabbed Hibachi in his back. Showing no remorse in his words but his expression still that of a scared boy, he tells Hibachi he doesn’t think his actions were wrong, and he didn’t have the right to take someone else’s life.
Hibachi shows no signs of anger but agrees with the kid and drops to the ground after saying his final words.
The adults who come on the scene of Hibachi’s death, apprehend the kid. Now, Beni makes sure Hibachi’s one last farewell is loud and sends off the flames.
II. Their Fierce Battle
Back in the present, Benimaru faces the Adolla burst Hibachi, who stands tall in the sky surrounded by his flame circle.
The Asakusa Hikeshi cheer on loudly and make their voices heard for Beni to show their master how he has been carrying Asakusa ever since that day!
The Adolla Hibachi kicks Beni and asks him how long he plans to mope over his death. Beni was not holding back his curses and sharp words return the attack Iai chop, and Hibachi counters it with Kagetsu (fire moon)!
They clash and fall back to strike again with their next forms: Beni uses form three Akebono (Daybreak) and Hibachi with form five Sokujitsu (Sunset)! This strike sends the winds and the sea roaring because of the impact of the attacks.
Again falling back, they talk smack to each other with their fancy insults, but the crowd watching their fight notices their strength and still maintains fear and respect for their master but with loud resolution cheer on Beni and tells him to show Hibachi his new move!
Beni yells at the old man that he is still left to show him something, marking the end of this chapter with a slight smirk.

It is published by Kodansha and has been serialized in the Weekly Shōnen Magazine since September 2015, with the chapters collected into twenty-three tankōbon volumes as of May 2020.
An anime television series adaptation by David Production aired from July to December 2019 on the Super Animeism block. The second season of the Fire Force anime television series is also animated by David Production.
Tatsumi Minakawa replaced Yuki Yase to be the director of the series. The series premiered on July 3, 2020.
