Season one of Fire Force aired from July 5 to December 27, 2019, and left fans craving for more after the show ended in a cliffhanger where a possibility of saving Shinra’s mom was shown.
Fire Force season two will premiere on July 3, and we can’t wait for the release. The anime’s official website has been slowly churning out various trailers and promotional videos to keep building our curiosity.
Along with the announcement, the official website also began streaming a promotional video for the characters.
With the second season’s premiere so close, the official website continues teasing fans with more announcements.
Fire Force’s official website announced on July 1 that Takahiro Sakurai would join the cast of season two as Yuichirō Kurono, a head researcher of pyrokinesis at Hajima Industries.
Yuichirō Kurono is a third-generation pyrokinetic who has been nicknamed “Grim Reaper” or “Death.” His most significant character trait is his fondness for bullying the weak.
When asked about the character’s first impression, Takahiro Sakurai responded:
“It is a habit character as you see it. Kurono’s eccentric values and ideas are strict. The expression of the extreme “eyes” sometimes seen in the work was impressive.”
Season two will be telecasted on MBS, TBS, BS-TBS, Miyazaki Broadcasting, Shin-Etsu Broadcasting, and Oita Broadcasting System every Friday from July 3.
It will be broadcasted on Shizuoka Broadcasting System and Sanyo Broadcasting Co., Ltd. on July 8, on TV Aichi, on July 10 on Iwate Broadcasting on July 27 and on Kumamoto Broadcasting from August 7.
Fans can’t wait to learn more about Shinra’s past, the truth behind the fire that burnt his house and what could happen to his mom.
