Wandered into the Castle Ruins of Casterfell Woods in Atomfall? Well, while you are exploring the eerie setting, you will come across a keyhole next to the fireplace in the dining room.

It is obvious from the situation that there is a hidden chamber behind it, but accessing it isn’t possible without a key. Unfortunately, unlike many modern games, Atomfall does not help you by marking the quest or key’s location in the game, making it frustrating to find such small items.

1. How to find the Castle Key in Casterfell Woods in Atomfall?

The Castle Key is on top of the Countertop in the Kitchen of the Castle Ruins in Casterfall Woods in Atomfall. The Castle Ruins are located at the bottom left of the Casterfall Woods map.

Once you reach the ruins, walk in through the main entrance and take the second hallway to the left, then take the first right. This will lead you to the kitchen. The key is kept on top of a countertop to the left next to the burning candle.

2. How to use the Castle Key in Atomfall?

Once you take the Castle Key, walk straight out of the kitchen through the second door and keep walking until you reach a large dining hall.

You will find a keyhole next to the fireplace behind the large stone throne. Use the key at the given place and it opens up a secret door within the fireplace. Now, you can progress ahead with your quest!
